These digital paintings were made while I was teaching in Florence, Italy in 2019. A steady diet of historical and contemporary art, architecture and design inspired these pieces. Yet, most importantly, my daily walks through the streets of Florence (and Venice, Modena, Bologna), made me keenly aware of the constantly shifting weather and light. I tried to capture these sensorial atmospheric memories.
